The over 175-year-old smoke sauna has room for 10 people and originally comes from Setesdal, where it was built.
The smoke sauna represents one of the oldest forms of sauna culture in the Nordics, where the room is traditionally filled with smoke while the stones are heated. On a daily basis, the sauna is fired with wood, while on special occasions it is fired up in the traditional way as a smoke sauna.
A place to gather
In the heart of Pust Oslo is the fire and the meeting place, inspired by the árran – hearth – and the structure of the old man.
For generations, fire has been a natural place to gather. Here you can land around the fire before and after the sauna, meet others or just sit by the heat.
