This sauna session will take place in the sauna, outside and in the water and consist of music, cold plunge, sauna, meditation and guided breathing.
Every first Sunday of the month we invite you to a sauna session with Sofia from Optimal Pust.
Get to know your own breathing pattern, learn fundamental breathing principles and experience various breathing exercises for stress relief, muscle relaxation and improved sleep quality.
Optimal Pust is based on research-based methods which aim to eliminate mouth breathing, normalize breathing volume and respiratory frequency, restore the balance between blood gases, regulate the nervous system and increase the strength and mobility of the diaphragm. Optimal Breath is about restoring a healthy breathing pattern that meets and fulfills our physiological requirements – as a basic human need.
Sofia is a 27-year-old woman from Oslo, and is the founder and creator of Optimal Breath. She has education and experience as a Personal Trainer (NIH), Meditation Teacher, Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapist and Buteyko Breathing/Oxygen Advantage Instructor. Personally and professionally, she is concerned with the holistic aspect of the human being. She is aware of the importance of creating space for others to feel safe, seen, heard and, not least, get in deeper contact with themselves. Her greatest passion is sharing valuable knowledge and tools that can contribute to increased self-development, self-awareness and a better quality of life.
Through her own practice of breathing methods, she has largely experienced increased self-confidence and inner peace, completely got rid of severe childhood asthma and gained more energy in both training and everyday life.
The sauna is booked from 18:00-20:00 so you have time to change before the lesson and can stay 30 minutes after the lesson if you wish.
