This summer we held several lifesaving courses for companies, private individuals, schools, kindergartens and activity leaders, to the great excitement of the participants. Now will offer this course to more people. The course is held at pust. The cadet course by certified course instructor Gunnar Berg.
Our lifesaving courses at Kadettangen are a great opportunity for those who want to learn important skills while enjoying nature and utilizing the heat of the sauna on cold days. The location by Kalvøya and the use of the sauna gives the participants a unique and memorable experience that enriches both knowledge and well-being. The course contains
- Risk assessment
- Prevent, avert and deal with accidents
- Employee and children's safety (Internal control)
- Implementation of training in, on and by water
- Survey of the participants' competence in lifesaving
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/CPR) on drowning children and adults
- Landing techniques
- Carrying out the lifesaving test
- Self-rescue and floating
- Use of extended arm
- Notification routines
- Alarmplan
The course follows the curriculum of Norges Livredningsselskap (NLS). Participants receive a
certificate of competence from Norway's Lifesaving Company. If desired, we will register the course for
the participants in NLS's register.
